French toast with bacon on the side. Surup and Butter are warm on the table. It is 63 here, going to high 70's. A beautiful day for Kyle to cut grass. Have a nice day everyone.

Thanks for the breakfast Marlene.
We were going to post a recipe for cajun french toast which is basically the same as regular french toast. EXCEPT it is called in cajun french PAIN Perdu Recipe for pain perdu (lost bread), a Cajun French toast recipe.
Ingredients:

* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 cup milk
* dash of nutmeg
* 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation:
Beat together egg and sugar; add milk and nutmeg. Dip slices of bread in the egg mixture then fry in hot butter until browned on each side. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with syrup.
Everyone have a great day.
